and Henry George of course...

This web site is dedicated to the memory of Robert Clancy, 1914-1995, "One of those sweet and patient souls who in narrow circles live radiant lives". Bob Clancy was the founder of the Henry George Institute, a lifelong teacher of the Georgist philosophy and an irreplaceable mainstay of its movement. All of the original drawings used in this course were done by Bob Clancy. His set of illustrations to Progress and Poverty was printed in 1955, but this is the first time they have ever been published with George's words. Bob was often a tad cranky about the impact of computers on the world - but I think he would get a kick out of this site. Thanks, Bob! - Lindy Davies
